The purpose of the Alumni Office at the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre (KAIPTC) is to establish and maintain a robust and engaged alumni network. The Alumni Office will foster lasting relationships with our graduates, participants and trainees to support their ongoing professional development, and enhance their connection to the institution.

The Alumni Office will also serve as a hub for networking, career support, continuing education, community engagement, and fundraising, ultimately contributing to the growth and success of both the alumni and the KAIPTC.

The Alumni office seeks to foster a thriving network that continuously engages with the Centre and its alumni, promoting lifelong connections and professional support.

Objectives
  • Reunite: Organize reunion events and programs that will bring together all alumni from various years to strengthen community ties and foster networking opportunities.
  • Develop a comprehensive outreach program to engage alumni who have been inactive for a while, encouraging them to return to the Centre.
  • Reconnect: Create a digital platform that facilitates ongoing communication and networking among alumni, allowing them to share experiences and resources.
  • Host regular regional meetups and networking events that cater to alumni based on geographical location, enabling them to reconnect.
  • Rediscover: Launch a series of workshops and seminars that allow alumni to explore new skills, career development, and personal growth, encouraging lifelong learning.
  • Develop a mentorship program where alumni can connect with current students or recent graduates, providing guidance and insights into their professional fields.
